BOOM  The machine construction consists of main and dipper booms of ASTM 8500 Grade B structural steel, with cab of steel and sheet metal. Reinforcing plate is of ASTM 8572 Grade 50.  The hydraulic assembly is powered by a 30 HP TEFC motor and a pressure compensated tandem gear pump. As an option, the main boom can be outfitted with a 4,000 pound capacity electric winch for use on facility maintenance.
